Back in 2015 I was on the “fluffier” side, and I had struggled with my body my whole life (aka I wanted to lose weight?). The reason why I could never successfully lose weight was because of my mindset. Instead of focusing on what really matters (calories) I focused on words like “healthy” “unhealthy” “clean” “dirty” “guilty” “guilt-free” blah blah blah… I definitely understand why these words can be used in some context’s-> HOWEVER, the problem was that my mindset towards food was binary. I either ate “clean” and I won, or I ate “dirty” and lost. MODERATION DID NOT EXIST?‍♂️

When I finally started to be successful with my diet, it was because I started focusing on WHAT ACTUALLY MATTERS?. I found out that my body doesn’t actually care about “food-sources” but it cares about nutrients (no matter how it gets those nutrients). And I found out that if I was in a caloric deficit, then my body would lose weight REGARDLESS of where my calories came from?. And most importantly I found out that almonds are not “fat-burning” but actually calorie-dense AF??. ➖➖➖➖➖
