Crispy lemon parmesan-broiled tilapia is what’s for dinner tonight 👏🏻🐟 #tilapiatuesday 🙋🏼‍♀️. I’m really picky about the fish I buy, and always ensure that it comes from a source committed to seafood integrity and sustainability. That’s why I prefer Colombia tilapia, which is ethically, responsibly, and sustainably raised 💯☺️. I also love that it cooks up beautifully — and quickly! This parmesan broiled tilapia required just 10 minutes in the oven, and turned out soooo deliciously crispy, moist, and flaky 😌.

#whatsonmyplate: (RECIPE) lemon-parmesan broiled tilapia 👉🏻 ¼ cup parmesan cheese • 2 tsp. grassfed butter, softened • 1 ½ tablespoons • primalkitchenfoods avocado oil mayo • 1 tablespoon lemon juice • ¼ tsp. dried basil pinch of salt • pinch of fresh black pepper • 1 lb. tilapia • 1) Preheat oven broiler. Grease a baking sheet or line with parchment paper. 2) Combine all ingredients in a bowl except tilapia, and stir until well combined. 3) Arrange tilapia filets on the baking sheet and place under the broiler for 3 mins, then flip and cook an additional 2 minutes. 4) Remove pan from oven and cover the top side of the filets with parmesan mixture. Broil an additional 2-3 minutes or until crispy 👌🏻.

I paired the tilapia with cast iron-grilled asparagus 🌱 and basil-sage almond flour grain-free fettuccine (simply toss fettuccine with olive oil, dried basil, dried sage, and parmesan cheese) for a super tasty post-gym din! 😋 (p.s. you can find fresh (not frozen) Colombian tilapia at Costco, Aldi, and Publix, among other stores 🛒).
