If you are looking for a natural weight loss solution.
What the health is nutrition themed documentary film aired on Netflix. It is produced by an agenda driven vegan who happens to coincidentally attribute all illness, disease and death to anything but his own plant based diet. What could go wrong?
Everything. Instead of objective conveyance of evidence, the watcher is subjected to promotional photos of frying pans cooking cigarettes – because according to WTH, eating one egg is ‘as bad’ as smoking 5 cigarettes.
WTH claim that egg yolks contain ‘pure fat and cholesterol which leads to plaque build up’. Yet if one calmly consults recent research, it suggests that cholesterol consumed is not even linked to cholesterol in blood.
WTH claim that eating one serving of processed meat each day increases likelihood of colon cancer by 18%. But this figure is based on relative risk. Absolute risk is closer to 3% and this is still dependent on many lifestyle variables.
Cigarettes, asbestos and plutonium are type 1 carcinogens according to the World Health Organization. Whilst processed meat is on this list, they clearly state that this classification is based on scientific link, not level of absolute risk. If one consults actual data, 34k global deaths per year are attributed to high processed meat consumption, whereas 1 million deaths are the result of smoking.
WTH continue their fraudulent ignorance to science by claiming that disease is caused by ‘dead meat bacteria toxins’ in animal products stiffening our arteries. But the term ‘toxin’ and it’s relevance to disease is vague. A bee sting contains toxins. But a bee sting does not cause disease.
None of WTH’s claims are based on rigorous, randomized, controlled trials done on human beings. Instead, they are cherry picked from the garden of biased correlation, rather than objective causation. But then again, what would you expect from a biased, extremist producer with a license to film on an entertainment network… ?
