Well folks, it’s that time of year again when the weather starts cooling down and the leaves begin to change colors – yes, fall is upon us! And with the changing of the seasons comes the age-old debate: pumpkin spice, yay or nay?
Some may say that pumpkin spice has infiltrated every aspect of our lives, from lattes to candles to even cereal. But let’s not forget the true essence of fall – crunchy leaves, cozy sweaters, and apple picking. Do we really need pumpkin spice in everything?
I mean, I love a good pumpkin spice latte as much as the next person, but do we really need pumpkin spice Cheerios or pumpkin spice hummus? Where does it end? Soon we’ll be seeing pumpkin spice toothpaste and pumpkin spice deodorant!
But hey, who am I to judge? If you want to bathe in pumpkin spice body wash and eat pumpkin spice pancakes for breakfast, more power to you. Just don’t be surprised when your entire house smells like a pumpkin patch.
In the end, whether you’re a pumpkin spice enthusiast or a pumpkin spice skeptic, just remember to enjoy the season for what it is – a time to cozy up with loved ones, indulge in some comfort food, and maybe even sneak in a pumpkin spice latte or two. Just try not to overdo it, unless you want to start sprouting pumpkin vines!
So, what’s your take on the pumpkin spice craze? Let me know in the comments below. And remember, when it comes to fall flavors, there’s no such thing as too much cinnamon or nutmeg… but maybe let’s leave the pumpkin spice hot dogs for another time.
