There are “hacks” everywhere about eating spicy food, drinking ice cold water, etc. And while these things may impact the energy your body uses we can’t really “hack” our metabolism. ?‍♀️ These are short term effects and not even necessarily healthy ones.

I feel like we’ve become OBSESSED with getting the ?fastest metabolism? possible but in reality we need to be focusing on getting our body to an optimal place where we are feeding in nourishing foods for the most part, listening to our hunger/fullness cues, and creating habits that support our mental & physical health.

If we do that? Our metabolisms will fall where they need to be, where our bodies function optimally. ?THAT should be the goal.?
