Don’t get me wrong- I think fitness trackers are great for motivation and they’re great to ‘draw a line in the sand’ so you can gauge overall increases or decreases in activity.

A few tips:
– Fitness trackers with inbuilt GPS are more accurate in measuring distance. Many calculate distance based on number of steps.
– Enter as much biometric data as the trackers asks for.
– Wear the tracker just above your wrist bone. Ensure it is tight enough so that it doesn’t move around.
