Have you ever created a food rule not around what you don’t eat, but what you DO eat?! ?Let me know in the comments!???
.
Whether it’s because you grew up with a “clean your plate” mindset ?or because you feel like you “get to” eat the entire plate because it “fit” into MyFitnessPal?, having rules around what you DO and “should” eat is super common.
.
I’m going to be talking about this in detail on next week’s free training but here are a couple tips:
.
?Allow yourself to pause during the meal and assess your hunger and fullness
.
?Use mindful eating exercises to help identify and enhance satisfaction
.
?Know that your portion sizes can change day to day
.
? Having containers is a great way to prevent food waste! I’ll throw pretty much anything into an omelette or over greens and call it a meal ?
.
And one more…. Focus not just on your fullness cues but your hunger ones! Finding and trusting your hunger cues comes first. It allows you to be able to listen to fullness cues! It’s really an order of operations thing.

To help I’m doing a free live training next week on how to find & trust your hunger cues. If you haven’t signed up yet… what are you doing?! Link in my bio to save your spot- you’ll regret missing this!
