It’s t…

Here is why I ❌DON’T ❌recommend breaking all of your food rules at once ?
.
It’s typically too overwhelming for most people. ?‍♀️It can be reminiscent of a diet, that all-or-nothing thinking. It can cause a lotta GI upset. It places the focus on simply eating the food and not necessarily experiencing it (which is KEY to making peace with it!)
.
Sure, there may be some people out there who this has worked for, and that’s not wrong or bad. ?‍♀️But from the thousands that I’ve worked with, and my past self, this is typically too overwhelming and causes a ping-pong effect from wanting food freedom and going back to dieting because woooooooa that was a ton of change at once.
.
If you’re struggling with making peace with food and removing the guilt, try focusing on your food rules (remember ➡️ deeming a food “bad” or “unhealthy” is a food rule too… the mortality food rule!) start with your “easiest” food rule, break it until you feel OK with it, then move to the next (it gets faster and easier as you go!)
.
But one key step that you can’t miss before you even get here: understanding WHY you wanted to diet in the first place and how you got to where you are (i.e. living a life of food rules and guilt!)
