Info request for @katoblacky. ?

Overall I recommend that where possible use foods like extra virgin olive oil, chia oil, flaxseed oil, avocado, hummus instead of spreads.

My pick is Nuttelex because it favours monounsaturated fats. It would be useful is this brand disclosed the Omega 6 Vs omega 3 ratio for the polyunsaturated fat content.

Two other comments:
1. The use of plant sterol margarines should be discussed with your Doctor or Dietitian depending on your own health status.
2. Various countries have laws around the allowed content of trans fats and labelling of this. In Australia they must be declared on a label if the manufacturer makes a nutrition content claim about cholesterol or saturated, trans, polyunsaturated, monounsaturated, omega-3, omega-6 or omega-9 fatty acids. Fortunately the levels of trans fats in Australian spreads is very low.
