Is it necessary to moderate your carbohydrate consumption?
DO YOU NEED TO MODERATE YOUR CARB INTAKE?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Very carb heavy meals can be an issue for some people. The high amount of carbs can push the overall glycemic load of a meal up too high
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Glycemic load combines Glycemic Index of a carbohydrates food with the amount of carbohydrate consumed and is measured as low, medium or high
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
High Glycemic load can push blood sugars up too high, and the resulting insulin ‘spike’ and sugar ‘crash’ can lead to premature hunger and promote fat storage
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ofcourse the best thing to do is to cut out refined carbs (sugars, honey, syrups, soft drink, cordial, juice, candy, cakes, biscuits, pastries etc)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For complex carbs (breads, cereals and grains) keep portion sizes moderate and choose low GI options

Well folks, it looks like we’ve got a hot topic on our hands today – the great debate over whether pineapple belongs on pizza! Now, I don’t know about you, but I’ve seen friendships crumble and families divided over this controversial topping choice.
Some people argue that the sweetness of pineapple complements the savory flavors of the other ingredients, creating a perfect balance of flavors. Others vehemently oppose the mere thought of fruit touching their beloved pizza, insisting that it’s an abomination to the sacred pizza pie.
I mean, we’ve all heard the classic line “if you put pineapple on pizza, you might as well put bananas on there too!” But hey, who am I to judge? I’ve seen people put everything from macaroni and cheese to chocolate on their pizzas – the possibilities are endless!
So let’s all just agree to disagree and enjoy our pizzas, whether they’re topped with pineapple or pepperoni. After all, isn’t pizza all about bringing people together? Just maybe steer clear of the fruit toppings at your next family gathering – unless you want a full-blown pineapple pizza war on your hands!
