✅ An unblended smoothie.
✅ A fruit salad swimmin’ in coconut water.
✅ A delicious fruity bowl of goodness.

❌But not a sub for mah fruity pebbles!

This is yet another example of ‘nutritionism’ (an overly reductive view of food where you only think about nutrients and if it’ll heal you or kill you- never about enjoyment, satisfaction, nostalgia, etc.)
.
It can be fun to try new food combos and even ones inspired by some more “soul nourishing” foods as I like to call them (the ones that maybe aren’t as nutrient dense but are enjoyable AF) but there shouldn’t be guilt stress or anxiety over eating the real deal, regular, nostalgic option.
.
When you learn to live and eat with no food rules you learn to effortlessly find “balance” between the two types.?
.
