Unpopular nutrition opinion ➡️ Not ALL food is consumed for the nutrients! ?♀️Some foods nourish our bodies more and some our souls. ❤️We need and deserve both! I’ve been in a place where you look at food only for nutrients and let me tell ya that was miserable, I missed out on SO many memories and I never wanna go back there.?♀️

Chocolate protein powder in warm water does not hot chocolate make. As an intuitive eater you have the right to enjoy whatever the heck you want and if this brings you joy I’m not gonna judge you. ?♀️ You do you. But let’s not fool ourselves into thinking this is the same in any way. It’s not.

It’s okay to drink calories. ?It’s okay to nourish your soul more so than your body. As intuitive eaters, someone who enjoys all foods in ways that feel best to them mentally & physically (Including DRINKING calories!) you wind up with… a more diverse diet! Intuitive eaters have lower fat levels in the bloo, a reduction in heart disease risk, greater body appreciation & satisfaction, higher self-esteem, optimism, satisfaction with life and proactive coping skills. So, yes, drinking the hot cocoa will likely make you happier and healthier in the end.
