Tips for intuitive eating on a schedule ? #AD
.
Sometimes you can’t just eat when you’re hungry. We’ve got schedules! So what do you do? We have to use something called “practical hunger”.
.
Practical hunger is knowing what your body could use and working to avoid extremes of hunger- i.e. being too hungry or too full. That might mean sometimes eating when you’re NOT hungry!
.
For example: Let’s say I have a meeting right when I’d usually get hungry for lunch and if I waited until after to eat I’d be FAMISHED. What would I do? I’d eat before the meeting even if I don’t feel super hungry to prevent getting too hungry. It’s being practical!
.
Being practical also means making things easier for you. That’s why I love these @campbellswellyes POWER Soup Bowls which are positive nutrition made easy. They have everything I need and want (they’re packed with veggies for a micronutrient punch, give me a good source of fiber and 8g or more of protein – all in one convenient heat-and-eat container). *WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER!*… or lunch! (they have plant-based ones too ?)
