VEGAN TWIX BARS ✨ These decadent candy bars are something I’ve been making for years, but the @wildernesspoets macadamia nut butter (sponsored by @iHerb) takes them to the next level👌🏼They have a crunchy gluten free crust, creamy date filling, and are finished off with some dark chocolate 🍫I linked a discount for you guys in my bio for the macadamia nut butter 💯
1 cup almond flour
1/2 cup oats
2 tbsp agave or maple syrup
1 flax or chia egg (1 tbsp flax seeds mixed with 2 tbsp water)
1/4 tsp salt
Mix all ingredients together until a “dough” forms. Line a bread pan with parchment paper and press down the dough. Bake on 350 for 20 minutes.
2 cups medjool dates, pits removed
1/3 cup @wildernesspoets macadamia nut butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
Blend until smooth. Spread over crust and freeze for at least 5 hours. Remove from freezer, slice and coat in melted dark chocolate (I melted 1 cup of chocolate chips with 1 tsp coconut oil in the microwave in 30 second intervals). Return to freezer for 10 minutes to set, then keep stored in freezer.
