Homemade Cranberry Sauce ?
{Simple recipe complements savory fall foods! Sweetened with maple syrup – Ready in minutes}
Serves 6-8
Cranberry Sauce Ingredients:
1 pound fresh organic cranberries
1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla extract
Garnish:
Zest of a fresh orange
Instructions:
Combine all sauce ingredients a small saucepan. Turn heat to high until it begins to boil, stir, then reduce to low, cover with lid and cook for an additional 15 minutes – until sauce thickens. Remove from heat and let cool. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Garnish with the orange zest immediately before serving.
