I think it’s important to take a step back from “going through the motions” to really gain perspective on what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. I created this Instagram at the end of my Freshman year of college, right before I started a summer job, to keep myself accountable to eat in a way that would allow my body to feel nourished and whole. It quickly turned into so much more than accountability, in the best possible way, and though I truly love this platform and all of you (I’ve already missed seeing your beautiful posts ?), sometimes it can kinda seem like a “trap,” preventing me from doing the things I want to do. Many times, I’ll feel as though I’m constantly “pouring out” and not “filling up” quite enough. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This quote pretty much sums up what I’m trying to say.. “Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes. Including you.” Even if it’s just for a few minutes, a few hours, a few days that you take a step back from what’s maybe “pulling you” all sorts of directions, I promise something good will come from it. Sometimes you just have to disconnect to reconnect ?? Read a book, organize your room, spend the day at the park, just do something that YOU love to do and never stop pursuing what your heart desires most ? #hannahharvestinghealth
