Soaking up these warm summer days while they’re here… but also just so excited for all the cozy fall recipes ? #ad I recently came across @skoutorganic Real Food Bars & they have the absolute best taste and texture! I used the Apple Pie kids bar to top these gluten-free ‘Cinnamon Apple Scones,’ which are super easy to make {aka all you need is just 6 ingredients} ?? Happy FRIDAY friends! || #HannahHarvestingHealth
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Cinnamon Apple Scones:
2 1/2 cups almond flour
1/4 cup cassava flour (or oat flour)
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. ceylon cinnamon
2 eggs
1/4 cup agave or pure maple syrup
{About 2 @skoutorganic Apple Pie bars for topping}
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Directions:
1.) Preheat oven to 350F and spray/line a baking sheet.
2.) In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients.
3.) In a small bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients.
4.) Pour the wet into the dry and stir until a dough ball forms.
5.) Place the dough onto the baking sheet and press down into a circle (about 1/2 inch thick). Use a pizza cutter to cut dough into 8 scones (but don’t separate them.)
6.) Cut the @skoutorganic Apple Pie bars into bite sized pieces to top the scones.
7.) Bake for 10-12 minutes and allow them to cool on the baking sheet before cutting into the slices!
