Vanilla Almond Bars:
CRUST:
2 cups almond flour
2 scoops @ancientnutrition Vanilla Bone Broth Protein
2/3 cup agave/maple syrup
FILLING:
1/2 cup (or more) almond butter
TOPPING:
2 dark chocolate bars (or more)
1-2 tbsp. coconut oil (optional: just helps the chocolate melt faster & smoother)
Pinch of salt (optional)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Directions:
1.) Line an 8×8 dish with parchment paper.
2.) In a big bowl, stir together the crust ingredients.
3.) Press the crust dough into the 8×8 pan and top with almond butter.
4.) Melt chocolate (optional: with coconut oil mixed in) and pour over almond butter layer (optional: add a little salt on top)
5.) Freeze for at least an hour, remove the parchment paper from the dish, and cut slices! Enjoy!
