🎧After listening to the mindset to muscle podcast yesterday – one thing I took away from listening, was that a lot of us struggle to find balance with our diet
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
💔We can often punish ourselves and either ‘be good’ or ‘be bad’ with our diet. When if we just focus on being a bit more realistic and becoming more consistent our overall progress will be better
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⚖️For me personally eating ‘optimally’ non-stop is too restrictive and I love so many different foods that is feels like I’m being deprived which can lead to massive blowouts ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🥦To stop this, I’ll focus on eating real foods the majority of the time. Including plenty of lean proteins, healthy fats, carbohydrates and controlling calories in my meals but not counting them religiously
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🍕I will also include some more ‘flexible’ foods like popcorn, protein bars, low fat ice creams etc into what I eat everyday. Then, less frequently I’ll still have things like cakes, chocolate bars, pizza etc from time to time when I want them

🙌🏻Hope this helps
