The banana?, our favorite tasty treat that comes conveniently pre-wrapped in nature’s own? packaging is packed with potassium and filled with fiber and magnesium, making it ideal for aiding in digestion and supporting blood ?pressure + heart ❤️+ bone ? health. Bananas provide our bodies with a variety of vitamins and minerals and they’re naturally fat, cholesterol and sodium free!
1. PB Banana Bites: cut a banana into roughly 1.5 inch pieces ?and spread a small spoonful ?of peanut (or your favorite nut) butter ?on top. Transfer to fridge and let cool ❄️for 10-15 minutes. In a medium bowl, microwave melting chocolate ?with a spoon of coconut oil ?until it is completely melted. Lay out a piece of parchment paper on a plate and dip banana bites in the melted chocolate and let them set on the parchment paper. Once all the bites are coated, transfer them to the fridge (or freezer for a frozen treat⛄️) and enjoy after it sets, around 20-30 min later.
2. Banana Ice Cream?: cut three bananas up into 1 inch pieces and freeze for at least an hour❄️. Blend bananas in a high-power food processor until smooth. Top with your favorite toppings? and enjoy!
3. Banana Oatmeal: mash one ripe banana in a medium bowl? and add oatmeal, a dash of cinnamon and a splash of vanilla extract, milk or your favorite dairy substitute and a pinch of salt ?Mix well and microwave for about 2-3 min, taking it out to stir every other minute. Top with banana slices, chia seeds and walnuts and enjoy!
4. Banana Bread?: mash 3 ripe bananas in a large bowl and add ¼ cup of melted butter, 1 cup sugar, 1 egg + a pinch of salt. Mix until combined. In a separate bowl, combine 1.5 cups of flour and ¼ tsp of baking powder. Blend the dry ingriedients in with the wet and mix until well combined?. If you would like feel free to add chocolate chips or your favorite chopped nuts such as pecans or walnuts to the batter. Transfer batter to a greated pan or muffin tin, bake for 15-20 min at 350°
