Enjoying ice cream on a hot day is straight up JOYFUL. ?Or, at least, it should be. But for years one end I HATED it. ?It came with a lot of baggage. If I ate it, I had to “make up” for it with a longer workout. ??‍♀️Or try to “cut back” on food to allow for it in my calorie “budget”. ?Can you relate?!⠀

⚡️NEWS FLASH⚡️: You can eat ice cream, enjoy it, and that’s literally it. ?‍♀️No playing tetris to make it “fit” into your day, no forcing yourself to run extra miles. You CAN get rid of the all or nothing thinking and enjoy ice cream in the amounts that feel good. ??No longer avoiding it at all costs or eating pints on end.⠀

And when you do this, learn to listen to your body, a couple things happen:⠀

?You’re able to ENJOY the ice cream more and without guilt⠀
?You’ll be more likely to honor your fullness & satisfaction cues⠀
?No more obsessive thoughts about it, meaning more time to create actual memories⠀
?Reduce binges of ice cream⠀
?You’ll feel at peace?⠀
