I got a question from a lady yesterday and I promised to answer via my caption incase someone else benefits from it.

The beauty of most plant-based foods is that they’re low in calories while looking so voluminous. So you can eat a bowl of food that looks so huge, feel satisfied but you may still not have eaten a huge amount of calories.

I eat a diet that is around 15-20% fat. I rarely use refined oil (<2% of the time) when cooking, I don’t over eat high-fat plant foods (?, nuts, seeds, ? etc)and I base my diet around grains, legumes, starchy & non-starchy vegetables and fruits. These foods are rich in fibre so they keep me feeling satisfied for decent periods and since they’re rich in carbs, I rarely crave anything and I go up to 6 hours without feeling hungry unless I don’t eat enough.

To summarise, I eat a high carb, low-moderate fat diet. I eat lots of whole foods, I stay away from refined food as much as possible, but I allow myself treats when I really want them and that’s not very often.
