Snacking on that handful of almonds, but still hungry? 😩
I have to be very honest here, a handful of nuts has never filled me as a snack🙅‍♀️I’m always left feeling unsatisfied and ready to have another few snacks! 😜
Now don’t get me wrong here, nuts are an amazing source of healthy fats and are filled with essential oils and minerals❤️
However, I find them extremely easy to over eat, and are caloric dense for what they are! 🤷‍♀️
This is why I like to have the nuts , ALONGSIDE something less caloric dense- to give me that VOLUME. This way, I am still getting the benefits from the almonds, but also feeling full and satisfied from the popcorn! 🍿 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
👈On the left we have 25 grams raw almonds
👉On the right we have 1 cup air-popped popcorn, and 5-6 almonds! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
