Striving for the perfect diet?
•••
There are many people out there who want a “perfect” diet. Only 100% “clean” and no “unclean” foods. I know, they have good intentions! They want to eat healthy and to nourish their body with unprocessed foods, but the problem is that for most of us this concept is too restrictive ❌ .
No carbs! No sugar! No fat! No processed foods! The problem with restrictive food rules is that we end up craving the forbidden foods more and more. So give yourself permission to eat those foods and practice eating them without judgement, eventually your craving will subside. Those foods will lose their power over you. Why? Because right now you are treating those foods special! But as soon as you can neutralize them and treat them like any other food, you will no longer obsess over them and rarely overeat on them. #8020rule #balanceiskey .
Have you ever experienced this? I too often felt that way myself in the past ?? #progress .
