TGIF! Let’s top off our active recovery day with a cherry on top!
Happy Friday everyone! I hope you are all ready to kick off the weekend in the best way possible. Today, I started my day with an amazing cherry-topped smoothie-yogurt bowl after a refreshing active recovery session at the gym. This bowl is packed with so many delicious and nutritious ingredients that I just had to share it with you all.
To make this energizing bowl, I used some of my favorite products including cashew milk, carob powder, chaga and reishi, along with fo ti, roasted butternut, frozen zucchini, beef gelatin, and vanilla protein powder . These ingredients not only provide a boost of energy but also pack a nutritional punch to keep me feeling satisfied and fueled throughout the day.
To top off my smoothie-yogurt bowl, I whipped up a delicious carob sauce using carob powder, egg white protein , coconut oil , a splash of water, and a few drops of vanilla drops. I also added some almond milk yogurt , coconut flakes, cashew butter , fresh cherries, and cacao nibs for an extra dose of flavor and nutrients. This combination of flavors and textures is absolutely delightful and truly sets the tone for a fantastic day ahead.
I’ll be tackling my morning at work with renewed energy and focus, and I have a lunch date to look forward to later in the day. I hope you all have an amazing day filled with good food, good company, and plenty of happiness.
