?Three things you can start doing to improve the quality of your diet ?

1. Limit processed foods: remove foods that are high in refined sugar, high corn fructose syrup, saturated fat, trans fats and chemical additives. You may get withdrawal symptoms; be aware so you plan ahead.

2. Start adding more plant foods: Rather than snacking on high sugar, high fat or nutrient-poor foods all the time, choose fruits or vegetables more often. Instead of eating ready-made meals, cook your food from scratch with fresh ingredients. Instead of drinking fizzy drinks, make a smoothie or eat fresh ????

3. Eat more legumes: Replace some, most or all of your meat, fish & poultry with legumes. They’re much higher in fibre, great for balancing blood sugar and maintaining weight. Legumes are also great sources of iron. Try to eat them with vitamin c-rich foods like Brussels sprouts or broccoli to maximise iron absorption.
