I’m PMS-ing right now (🤣watch out world!) and need some chocolate in my life. I grab the pint of ice cream🍦, stick my spoon into the creamy dreamy goodness, and eat it without guilt. 🙌🏻If I’m being honest, sometimes this happens at 7am. 🤷♀️No shame in my PMS cravings game! If I avoided my cravings here is what would happen:⠀

First, I’d be pissed. 🤬Let’s face it, we get a wee bit testy this time of the month!⠀

Secondly, I’d be setting myself up to eat a crap ton of ice cream later on, leaving me feeling less than fab. 😖Likely more than I needed to feel satisfied and more than I would have had I just allowed myself to have it in the first place.⠀

And, thirdly, I’d have a hard time concentrating on my actual day (work💻, time with my husband👩❤️👨, etc) because I’m thinking about the gosh darn cravings that I am not satisfying!)⠀

Instead, I honor my cravings. 🥳I grab the pint when I want some. And I also “lean in” to my cravings by incorporating what I crave (chocolate🍫) into my day. I’ll add cocoa powder to my smoothies, top oatmeal with chocolate chips, put some chocolate on my plate for lunch dessert (totes a thing, try it, it’s fab😘), or, like I said, just grab the pint! Whatever I’m feeling, I go for it and listen to my bod.
