You can eat a ‘perfect’ diet and take the finest quality of supplements, but if your body is not breaking things down and properly absorbing what it needs, I’m afraid you won’t reap the benefits of your diet and reach optimal health.
Increasing the dose of supplements you take doesn’t mean that your body will absorb more of it. In most cases, supplements provide excessive amounts of what we need. Our bodies take what they need and get rid of the rest. If you find that you’re being diligent with your diet and supplements, but your body doesn’t feel right, don’t take matters into your own hands and overdose on supplements. Go to your doctor, get proper tests done and figure out the root of the problem. It may be an absorption issue rather than an under-dosage of supplements.
We Taco’ing 🥙 it with chips for Tuesday. I filled the 🥙 with black beans and some soy mince I found lurking in my freezer. Then topped with vegan mayo, salad, cherry 🍅tomatoes, salsa and parsley. I’m pretty sure I’m going to be taking a bread break after today. I want to focus on eating more whole foods now that I think I’ve got my legume issues under control to a certain extent – more on that coming soon 😊.
