Dinner is served for @chancythevegan (also ended up adding some vegan sausage, didn’t make the photo ?) The marinara sauce is so simple YET SO GOOD!
MARINARA SAUCE RECIPE
1 28-ounce can crushed tomatoes
4 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
crushed red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon salt
5 large fresh basil leaves, roughly chopped
1 tbsp maple syrup
3 tbsp nutritional yeast (Optional) cherry tomatoes sautéed until soft
Method: cook all together for 15 minutes and pour over your favorite noodles.
