EASY CRISPY HASH BROWNS PATTIES ✨

CRISPY HASH BROWNS
Ingredients:
1 (20 ounce) frozen bag shredded hash browns (I purchase from trader joes)
1 1/2 tbsp ground flax + 5 tbsp water
3 tbsp nutritional yeast
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
3-4 tbsp avocado oil or oil of choice
Method:
1.To a small bowl combine ground flax and water, stir and set aside for 5 minutes.
2.To a large pan over medium heat add 1 tbsp oil and add the entire frozen bag of shredded potatoes to the pan and cook for 2 minutes just until the potatoes are no longer frozen.
3.Add the potatoes to a large bowl, along with flax and water mixture, salt, pepper, nutritional yeast and garlic powder. Mix with a wooden spoon until well combined.
4.Heat about 2 tbsp of oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Then scoop out 1/4 cup potato mixture into your hand and form a patty, flatten to a 1/2 inch thick. Add to the pan and cook until golden brown on the bottom, then flip over and brown on the other side. It should take at least 3-5 minutes per side.
5.Remove from pan, and place on a plate lined with a paper towel. Season with a little salt and pepper and enjoy! .
