Easy Vegan Black Bean Sliders ?Hey I’m back with some easy & oh so flavorful sliders. I served mine with some sweet potato air fries & walnut spinach pesto for dipping. Hope you guys enjoy my slider recipe.
What you need: 1 15 oz can of black beans drained, rinsed, & dried, 1/2 onion, 1/2 red pepper, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 tbl cilantro, 2 green onions, 1/2 cup cooked quinoa, 1/4 cup panko, 2 tbl nutritional yeast, 1 tbl red wine vinegar, 2 tsp cumin, 1 tsp oregano, 1 tsp smoked paprika, 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper(optional for some heat)salt/pepper to taste
What you do:
1️⃣ In a large bowl, mash black beans with a potato masher or the back of a fork, leaving some texture by leaving some beans partially mashed . Set aside
2️⃣In a food processor, combine onion, pepper, garlic, cilantro, & green onions and pulse till roughly chopped. Strain out extra water.
3️⃣ On stovetop over med heat, take chopped herbs, onions, & pepper & cook until softened about 3 min
4️⃣ Once cooled, add to mashed black beans, then add the rest of the ingredients & mix well. Taste, adjust seasonings. Set in fridge for 30min
5️⃣ Form sliders using 1/4 cup of black bean mix. Making around 6-7 sliders
6️⃣On a well oiled pan over medium heat, cook sliders 5 min on each side. Enjoy with your favorite burger toppings ???
