Finally recreated this incredible bagel from a restaurant in Amsterdam two years later 🙌🏼 the flavor combination of garlic hummus, sundried tomato and peppery arugula makes this the perfect lunch for busy days or when you just want something quick and easy ✨ I threw all of these ingredients on top of a @silverhillsbakery sprouted everything bagel and called it a day. Although making your own hummus might be slightly more time consuming than buying it from a store, this still comes together in about 10 minutes and saves SO much money, and is completely versatile to your flavor preference! 🌿
.
My go-to hummus recipe 👇🏼:
1 can of drained and rinsed chickpeas (or about 2 cups of cooked chickpeas), 3 tbsp of tahini, 1 large lemon, juiced, 1 large clove of garlic, a generous pinch of salt, and 1/4 cup of water or olive oil (I tend to split it half and half). Blend everything together in a food processor or high powered blender, adding more water or oil a tbsp at a time if it’s not blending well. This will keep in an airtight container in the fridge for about 5 days. Enjoy! 💛
