Looking for a last minute holiday dessert? ✨ These fudgey vegan chickpea brownies are the perfect dessert to whip up, especially because you probably have all the ingredients in your cupboard already 🙌🏼.
To make 👇🏼:
1 can of chickpeas (drained and rinsed) – 1/2 cup peanut butter – 1/3 cup maple syrup – 1/3 cup cocoa powder – 1/4 tsp baking powder – 1/4 tsp baking soda – chocolate chips – candy canes – a pinch of salt. Blend everything but candy canes and chocolate chips together in a blender or food processor until smooth. If you’re using a blender without a tamper, add a small amount (1 tbsp at a time) of plant based milk until it blends. The mixture should still be thick, though, and will need to be cooked for longer (until a fork comes out clean) if you add milk. Mix in 1/3 cup chocolate chips and bake in the oven at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes until the edges are golden brown. Enjoy! 💛
