These questions go through our heads so often it’s toxic. I know I always worry how others perceive me and how I present myself. I worry about how my hair looks, the clothes I’m wearing, the makeup, everything. And you know what, it’s exhausting to always worry about these things. What we should be thinking about is the way we feel on the inside. Our mental health is so much more important than the makeup on our face or the new pair of shoes everyone loves. It’s so hard to remember that at times, but it’s something I’m working on everyday ? I’m trying to become a better person on the inside and treat my own self with more respect. The more you say negative things towards yourself, the more you start to believe it. Today I’m challenging myself to only say positive things about my body and my personality.
