CRISPY Baked Sweet Potato Fries TIPSSS ?
You know what’s better than sweet potato fries, probably nothing… I could seriously eat them everyday and have zero regrets. I’ve been making them for so long that I wanted to write down a few tips for you guys to perfect your very own fries. No crazy amounts of oil, no weird ingredients, just plain and simple sweet p fries ?
1. CLEAN the heck out of the skin. I love keeping the skin on my potato fries, but it’s dirty. So use a brush or even just a sponge and clean it, it’s worth the time
2. Evenly slice them so they bake the same! It’s not the easiest to cut a sweet potato, but just use the sharpest knife you have and a little patience helps too ??‍♀️
3. Lay them out on the pan without touching! This lets each potato get even seasoning and bake perfectly on all sides
4. SPRAY with a dash of avo oil. I hate over oily potato’s for so many reasons, like you get soggy fries, ain’t nobody got time for that
5. Season, season, season. I always use some combo of sea salt, garlic, and something spicy from @primalpalate
6. Bake at 400 until they’re fully cooked through and then BROIL on low until the tops turn a darker brown. Guarantees a crispy fry every time!
