It may be Saturday morning, but let’s discuss meal prep! You guys know by now how much I love it ? Without it, I don’t know how I’d get through the week. This past week I made a variety of carbs, protein, and veggies to eat for lunches at school. Including the most amazing turkey burgers ? To be totally honest with you guys: this is my moms recipe! But I’m taking claim of it to share with you guys lol (thanks mom) This recipe it just too amazing not to share. The burgers came out super juicy and they were the best addition to my brown rice bowls this week. The ones in this pic are actually meatballs because I had a little extra leftover, but the burgers were definitely the best ? Hope you guys enjoy the recipe and have a fantastic weekend!

Turkey and veggie burger:
~ 1 small purple onion
~ 1 small zucchini
~ 1 pack of about 16 oz ground turkey
~ garlic and basil (I use frozen cubes)
~ 2 tbs egg whites
~ optional seasoning: sea salt, black pepper, paprika
In a food processor, grind up the onion so the pieces are tiny! Remove and do the same with the zucchini. Use a paper towel to dry both off a little and then hand mix the garlic, basil, egg whites, and raw turkey. Create desired shapes and grill on a grill pan. Make sure it’s fully cooked! Enjoy ?
