I don’t usually post old photos of mine, but one of my favorite brands reposted this yesterday and they gave me all the feels. If you had told me a few years ago that I would be eating a smoothie bowl loaded with so many goodies, I would’ve told you that you were crazy. How could I eat so many different kinds of foods at one time and for breakfast?? I used to avoid breakfast at all costs because of the fear that eating an extra meal would hinder my weight loss ??♀️ and I am nowhere near perfect, I still have days where I worry about the foods that I eat, but the knowledge I’ve gained over the last few years about the importance of food and a balanced diet is unreal. I truly never understood how food could properly fuel your body and I’m so thankful to have this platform to have educated myself and still continue to grow and learn as much as I can. If you want to make this smoothie bowl, here are the deets ??
~ 1/3 cup frozen blackberries
~ 6 cubes frozen pineapple
~ 1/3 cooked and frozen butternut squash
~ 1/2 frozen banana
~ 2 tbsp dairy free yogurt
~ 1/3 cup nut milk
Top with: a little extra yogurt, granola, @soozysgrainfree sweet potato muffin ? frozen berries, cut up kiwi, bee pollen, and a little chocolate because chocolate goes well on everything. Happy eating friends!
