The most extravagant breakfast I’ve had since Tuesday ?? Since the stomach bug, I haven’t been able to eat anything super complicated. Nothing super salty, nothing super sweet, nothing spicy, nothing too acidic, and more. I’m all about good flavors and plating up a colorful plate of food, but today it’s still super plain. I’ve been eating @simplekneads_gf sourdough this week and it’s been a total lifesaver. The ingredients are simple which is exactly what my body needs. I topped two toasted slices with @artisanaorganics cashew butter and @beekeepers_naturals honey and bee pollen. Trying to give my body a little boost of energy since I’ve been feeling so drained ??‍♀️ Lunch will be more soup and dinner will probably be white rice. I might even mix it up and an egg, getting wild over here ? Stomach bugs are the WORST and the recovery is extra long because of the Crohns. My stomach is trying to readjust and it’s not super happy about it

I have been trying to stay super positive though! If anything, this has forced me to slow down. I can’t even tell you guys the last time I just stopped moving. The last time I lounged in bed and didn’t do something active. Maybe this was my bodies way of telling me to take a break! And even though I don’t feel great yet, I know this time off was for the best ? Happy Friday everyone!
