I felt so FREE from diet cultu…

What happened when I started intuitive eating šŸ‘‡
.
I felt so FREE from diet culture!
.
I was making so many more memories and finding more joy in life
.
I had so much more brainspace from not obsessing over food 24/7
.
… but I also felt like poo. šŸ’©
.
It was freeing to eat the cookies šŸŖ, the donuts šŸ©, the pizza šŸ•, etc. etc. but I knew fueling my body in this way all of the time didn’t feel great. I honestly started to question intuitive eating and thought about ditching my non-diet efforts all together šŸ˜¬ā€¦but I’m so glad I didn’t and here is why šŸ‘‡
.
I realized that I wasn’t fully eating intuitively.
.
When anyone says that listening to their body won’t work I call B.S. I’ll ask ā€œOk I see how you might think that but quick Q here… is your brain a part of your body?ā€ I mean… if someone says no then we’ve got bigger fish to fry 🤣
.
If you’re not also listening to your 🧠brain🧠 (for example āž”ļø what will feel good? what does your body need? etc) then you’re not actually listening to your body. And whomever is saying that listening to your body is going just off of your cravings needs an anatomy lesson.šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø
.
Intuitive eating is a mix of, yes, satisfying your cravings šŸ« and the deliciousness that is life, but it’s also using your noggin’ and thinking about your choices. Picture a venn diagram- intuitive eating is kinda like where the two circles of your cravings/desires overlap with your nutrition and health knowledge.
.
Finding this ā€œbalanceā€ is waaaay easier said than done, I get that.šŸ˜– It took me YEARS to figure out how to do it without undoing all of my intuitive eating progress. But if you want to make intuitive eating sustainable and healthy ya gotta figure out how.
.
I don’t want it to take you years like it took me. šŸ™…ā€ā™€ļøSo I’m going to spill all of the tea on March 22nd and give you the exact 5 step process that I used to find ā€œbalanceā€ and integrate my brain into my food choices as an intuitive eater without it feeling diet-y.
