My name is Bette. I’m a 34 year old female from Turkey. My occupation is a website designer and I work from a home office. I have struggled with my weight since puberty. I was such a skinny kid but when the hormones kicked in the struggles began. Back in 2006 I lost 15 kg just by exercising, mostly using a cross trainer for 30 mins every day after work, running on sand and up hills. It took about 6 months. I didn’t change what I was eating and the weight just fell off. 4 years later, a new comfortable relationship, 5 overseas holidays the weight was all back!

This year I joined Weight Watchers online and lost 3 kg in 4 months, but then the motivation stalled and so did the weight loss. I discovered the Dukan Diet in a friends magazine, and thought it sounded interesting. I had never tried a diet like this before so I thought I would give it a go. My starting weight as of January 2018 was 86.5 kg, the heaviest I have ever been.

My end goal is to wear a bikini for the first time in my life, I have been close a few times but have a naturally round tummy so I never had the confidence to let it see the light. This year I am going to holiday in October, that’s 4 months to get my beach body, yikes! With any other diet I would say it is impossible, but from what I have read the Dukan Diet might be the answer. People have been getting some amazing results and I hope I will be one of the success stories come October 2018.
