Charcuterie Board TIPS ✌?
Making these boards is one of my favorite past times. It’s like making a work of art with food and there’s nothing better than that lol. So here I am to offer some basic plating tips if you’re in the mood to spice up you Friday evening drinks:
~ start with the perfect wooden board. This was actually a cutting board so nothing super fancy!
~ add a couple of bowls first. I used my two small clear bowls for jams! You can add olives, nuts, or any other types of spreads.
~ prosciutto is a must and can be added next! Nothing too hard here, just roll the pieces up messily and plate them around the bowls or right in the middle.
~ add your larger chunks or slices of cheese. My favorite dairy free type right now is @miyokoscreamery
~ then add your other meats. Grab maybe two or three more kinds and fold them around the board. Fill in empty spaces.
~ finally, add fruit! I love adding fresh figs and apple slices wherever there are still spaces on the board.
I love to plate crackers and breads on the inside so there’s more room on the board for meats and cheeses lol. But you can totally add crackers to the board as well ✨
Happy Monday!
