Rosemary Garlic Chicken ~By Adding rosemary and garlic to your hot pan to sea…
Rosemary Garlic Chicken??
Adding rosemary and garlic to your hot pan to sear is one of the best and easiest ways to get flavor into any piece of protein! I’ve been adding fresh rosemary everywhere and can’t get enough! This is such a simple dish and perfect for any day of the week. Pair it with your favorite sides and a big salad for a complete meal!
~
3-4 chicken breasts, pounded evenly
Salt & pepper
1 tablespoon avocado or olive oil
3 tablespoons grassfed butter or ghee, divided use
4 cloves of garlic, whole but crushed
4-5 sprigs of fresh rosemary .
Instructions:
Season the chicken on both sides liberally with salt and pepper; set aside to bring to room temperature.
Preheat oven to 350F.
Heat a large oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat and heat the oil & 1 tablespoon butter until melted and sizzling.
Sear the chicken on both sides until browned, approx. 3-4 minutes.
Move the chicken over and add the remaining butter to the pan and melt. Slightly tip the pan so the butter pools in one area and add the crushed garlic and rosemary into the butter to toast. As the garlic and rosemary toast, spoon the butter over the chicken breasts (you’re basting it).
Spread the rosemary and garlic over the chicken and place in the oven to finish cooking, approx. 10-15 minutes. Flip halfway through, basting as you flip. (Cook until the internal temperature reads at least 165F). Remove from the oven, baste again upon serving..
