I don’t believe in measuring everything all the time, but every once in awhile it’s important to measure/weigh things to RECALIBRATE OUR EYEBALLS?. That is a ?pro-tip.

?On the left is a measured 1 tablespoon serving of peanut butter + an apple. A totally satisfying snack. And one of my personal go-to’s.
?On the right is when real life happens ?‍♀️. That peanut butter is just globbed on the apple. It has THREE times the calories and although it seems like a great SNACK…it’s almost as many calories as a MEAL. Sneaky.?

The inspo for this post was my IRL ah-ha moment about peanut butter when I measured it yesterday?. I shared this because it’s a lesson I have to keep LEARNING myself! Doing a quick measure every once in awhile can help reset our “visual wisdom”. ?
