healthy homemade meal
I’ve had quite a few people ask me whether I only eat ‘healthy’ (I put that in inverted commas because the term is so subjective) food and the answer is definitely no! The photos I post here on Instagram are just a small percentage of what I eat on a daily basis, and show the healthier, more Insta-worthy meals I prepare. I’m at a stage in my journey where I eat whatever I’m craving, as long as it’s vegan, and often that’s a healthy homemade meal, or a pizza with a side of fries. That’s what works for me and it feels wonderful to have such a relaxed relationship with food after depriving myself of my favourite meals and treats for years of my life. I definitely do not follow any ‘rules’ and never label foods as ‘good’ or ‘bad’, and looking back it’s great to see just how far I’ve come! On another note, here’s a throwback to a nourish bowl I had a while ago, with hassleback potatoes, butter beans, peas, tomatoes, cucumber, mushrooms and spinach.
