Hey guys! Let’s talk fruit! ?

? Whenever I go to the supermarket, conveniently pre-cut fruit and produce is always staring me down, beckoning me to skip the hassle of whole fruit preparation – perhaps including cleaning, peeling, scooping, and seeding. But the truth is, pre-cut fruit has some major downsides.

? One of the major ones is that you have a much higher risk of salmonella contamination. Did you know that right now there’s an outbreak of salmonella poisoning going on in the US and it’s linked to pre-cut fruit? ? Pre-cut fruit:
– Not as fresh as whole fruit
– Not as much fruit
– Way more expensive
– Waste of plastic
– Potential salmonella

? Whole fruit:
– Saves you money
– Fresher
– Cleaner
– Free arm workout when you carry it home from the store

As always I love you guys and just want to help you make the best choices!
