Maintain a Healthier Christmas (ish)

KEEP XMAS HEALTHY(ish)???
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1️⃣ Accept that some meals will be big but don’t write off the whole period by eating anything and everything at every meal
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2️⃣ Be selective. Choose 1 dessert that looks amazing instead of trying them all
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3️⃣ Taking a platter? Fill it with fruit or veggie sticks with a healthy dip (lower calorie hummus or tzatziki)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4️⃣ Keep moving. Plan when you will exercise and stick to it. Make it a challenge to drag your most stubborn family member along ?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
5️⃣ Drink plenty of water. Thirst can often be mistaken for hunger and dehydration will make your body and digestion sluggish and deter you from exercise
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Most of all, relax and enjoy! Be realistic and don’t aim for weight loss over this time (if that’s your overall goal), ??

Well folks, it seems like we’ve got a real doozy on our hands today. That’s right, we’re talking about the age-old debate of cats vs dogs. Now, I don’t want to stir up any trouble, but let’s just say some furry friends may have a bit of a rivalry going on.

Let’s start with cats, these mysterious creatures have an air of elegance about them. They strut around like they own the place, plotting world domination from the top of the bookshelf. And don’t even get me started on their impeccable grooming habits – they make the Kardashians look like amateurs.

On the other hand, we’ve got dogs. Oh, dogs. They’re like your loyal best friend who’s always up for a game of fetch or a cuddle on the couch. They’re the life of the party, wagging their tails at every opportunity and giving out slobbery kisses like it’s going out of style.

But let’s be real, each pet has its own quirks and charms. Cats may be aloof, but they provide endless entertainment with their acrobatic leaps and ninja-like reflexes. Dogs, on the other hand, may be a bit slobbery, but they’ll never fail to make you smile with their goofy antics and unwavering loyalty.

So, whether you’re Team Cat or Team Dog, one thing’s for sure – our furry friends bring plenty of joy and laughter into our lives. And who knows, maybe one day we’ll see a cat and dog snuggling up together, proving that even the fiercest of rivals can become the best of friends.
