We can’t get enough of STRAWBERRIES right now!? I cored the strawberries, and cut them into 1/2 inch slices. I put the ends and unused pieces of strawberry in the freezer for smoothies.
I fanned them out starting from the inside and layered them like a flower.
Silky Chocolate Sauce: ➡Look for a quality Dark Chocolate, with a higher percentage of cacao (NOT cocoa). The antioxidants are higher…and usually the sugar is lower! ➡For a silkier texture, try melting a Tablespoon of unrefined Coconut Oil right into the chocolate!
Ingredients:
1 cup Dark chocolate, or Lily’s chocolate chips
1 Tbsp unrefined coconut oil, melted.
In a medium, microwave-safe bowl, add chocolate and coconut oil. Place in the microwave and heat for 30 seconds. Stir. Heat again for about 20 seconds or until the chocolate is softened and melty. Stir until smooth. Alternately, you may use a small double boiler in the stovetop to melt the chocolate. Melt 1 cup Dark Chocolate, with 1 Tbsp unrefined coconut oil in a small sauce pan, on low, stirring constantly until smooth.
Serve with fondue forks, and enjoy!
