✨Fibre – it is great for digestion, regulating cholesterol levels, maintaining weight, regulating blood sugar and reducing the risk of several chronic diseases. But unfortunately, most people don’t get enough of it. If you’re eating a whole foods plant-based diet, you should easily be getting more than or at least the recommended 40g daily. Some people do well with eating a lot of fibre, others don’t. If you’re constantly having digestive issues, it may be worth paying closer attention to the amount of fibre you’re consuming.

I know the general consensus is that the more you eat it, the more tolerant you are to it. I don’t think that’s always true because, we all have different tolerance thresholds. Once you know where your happy place is, maintain that, don’t force your body to handle more than it is able to. We are all different.
