Call me crazy, but I’ve never really been a fan of smoothie bowls ?♀️ there’s something about having to eat the smoothie that just takes WAY too long for me (although I think slowing down while eating might be the point ?) I much prefer my usual simple morning smoothie in a huge mason jar with my metal straw ?? I’ve been making the same recipe for years with a few tweaks and add ins here and there ✨I’ve made this smoothie so many times on my stories, but I still get questions about what’s in it so here it is! .
My go-to smoothie ??:
~2-3 cups of packed kale, 1 banana, two handfuls of frozen strawberries, 1 tbsp of peanut butter, 3 tbsp of ground flax seed, 1 tsp of turmeric, 1 tsp of cinnamon, 1 tsp of maca powder and a tiny pinch of pepper (to help to turmeric absorption) ?.
