Cheersing to hump day with my morning green smoothie ? I’ve started to add spirulina to my smoothie and am always so excited by the colour it gives ? ALSO, I’m bringing back #nowastewednesday by sharing with you that I froze leftover broccoli stems from a few nights ago and added them to this smoothie! I couldn’t taste it at all, and it gave my smoothie an extra nutrient boost and avoided wasting the stems! A win win if you ask me ??.
In this smoothie ??:
2 cups of packed kale, 2 handfuls of strawberries, a frozen banana, 1 tbsp peanut butter, 3 tbsp flax seeds, 1 broccoli stem, chopped and frozen, 1 tsp spirulina, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp cinnamon + water to blend ✨
